Firstly, Ben Saunders, the energetic polar adventurer, for inspiring Paul to think about his website in a whole new way.

Secondly, Al Boardman, who introduced Paul to Rapidweaver, an incredible program that magically transformed Paul’s words and pictures into this web-friendly offering.

Special thanks go to Dan Haylock, Low Pressure’s Art Director, for all his encouragement, advice and expertise. Paul would also like to thank graphic designer Matt Bonner for the time and care he took over the initial layouts, and Tracey and Janie at Bigfoot for expertly scanning his 35mm transparencies.

This website ran in beta for a couple of months before going live: thanks to everyone who took the time to explore the site and who sent in loads of really useful feedback and suggestions, much of which was incorporated into the final design.

Last – but definitely not least – Rob Halliday. Without his digital hand-holding over the past 20 years, Paul would still be using a typewriter instead of a bijou Apple Powerbook.
